Lauren Haynes is a Clinical herbalist, and the founder and mother to Wooden Spoon Herbs - a conduit between the plant realm and one’s personal practice, offering guidance on the plant pilgrimage to all who seek it. Lauren is currently living in Cloudland on Lookout Mountain - in Georgia, where she runs her business from her cabin in the woods. Lauren sells herbal medicines on her online apothecary, which is relaunching with its rebrand this June! Check out Lauren’s stockists on her website. 

In this interview, we discuss how a foot injury helped Lauren to quit her waitressing job, and take on Wooden Spoon Herbs full-time. We also chat about Lauren’s evolution from a plant enthusiast to a business woman, and the evolution of Wooden Spoon Herbs from a side hustle, to Lauren’s dream of providing medicine to thousands of people for years to come.
