Don't Think of a Pink Elephant - Language & Manifesting | 30-Day Challenge: Daily Practice [Day 7]
Greetings Beautiful (Wo)Manifestors!Sometimes you don’t know what you want, but you’re pretty darn sure about what you DON’T want.Have you ever heard the phrase, “Don’t think of a pink elephant”?What did you do? You thought of a pink elephant. When you phrase your desires in terms of what you don’t want, in order to understand what you’re saying, your brain HAS to picture whatever it is that you don’t want. It’s funny how many of us are walking around thinking about what we don’t want. We don’t want to be sick anymore, we don’t want to be poor, we don’t want to always be so tired or at the end of our ropes. There is relief, however, in knowing that if you can identify what you don’t want, then you can rephrase what you are telling yourself to be in terms of what you DO want.Try this: read through your story and notice if anything is phrased in terms of what you don’t want. Rewrite those phrases in terms of what you DO want. For example: “I am no longer sick” would become “I am totally healthy, feeling vibrant and energetic, and the doctors are amazed at how perfect my health is!"Can you feel the difference between the two phrases? You can take this further by setting an alarm on your phone and checking in with yourself during the day to observe whether you’ve been phrasing thoughts in your head in terms of what you don’t want or what you DO want. It only takes a few seconds, but it makes a huge impact on your ability to manifest. It’s OK to phrase things in terms of what you don’t want, so long as you remember to notice that you’re doing it and then rephrase your thoughts to be in terms of what you do want. Try this for a day, a week, or a month! It’s amazing how much this one thing can change your whole perspective and ability to take action towards your dreams. If you need help figuring out how to rephrase your desires and dream visions, email me or post them in the FB group.Image from Pinterest.
